Please Note: (A similar version to the "Peace Begins with Me" Concert, with emphasis on anti-bullying is also available as a teaching performance.  This concert is entitled:

"We're all one people, all one nation, all one planet, Together we can live." (These words are an excerpt from Cheryl Melody's Song, "One Planet," on her CD, "Celebrate!")

These meaningful teaching concerts contain vital messages. The themes of each original song, rap and storytelling revolve around anti-bias, creating a bully free safe school, non-violent conflict resolution and respect for self, each other and the earth.

An Interactive Program

The program is interactive, dynamic and consciously designed to give children a sense of hope and empowerment that transcends the negativity that they sometimes face in their day to day world. This musical journey is filled with interactive opportunities, uplifting words and original, catchy music.

Cheryl Melody sends CD-R's of the chorus of each song she sings to the school in advance, along with preparatory optional suggestions.

Every song and rhythmic rap is participatory, and every piece of music focuses on concrete, educational messages that teach children how they can bring peace, caring, manners, sharing, respect, tolerance, dialogue and love to their lives and to the lives of others. Through participatory and original songs, instruments, gentle movement, multicultural puppets, international flags and the Vibratory Golden Peace Bowl, the audience becomes aware of the true meaning of “being the change they want to see in the world.”

The entire audience becomes members of the "Earth Chorus and Peace Band," and they learn about the unlimited possibilities that they can have when they come together to celebrate diversity, embrace peace, and focus on tolerance and respect. As the concert unfolds, children and adults learn to weave and share peace promises from the peace clues they've experienced-and ultimately integrate the message that each of us CAN make a difference in the world.

Peace Pals Concert
Appropriate for ages 3-6

This concert is similar to the "Peace Begins with Me," concert but it is designed for the younger age groups.
